Do the scars fade?

Do the scars fade? Yes. 

At least I think so. But I think they also lay in wait. They are always still there. Sometimes affecting nothing and sometimes pushing into everything. So can you survive it? Can you survive leaving? Absolutely yes. Is it harder if you wait longer? A simple yes. But it is your journey. And you are making choices based on what is best for you and for your littles. This is not easy. And you are the only one who has your answers. So while you look for those answers, know that those of us who have gone before you know where you are right now. We know that you have the strength even though you don't believe you have found it yet. We love you, we will help when you need us. You are not ‘nothing’. You are not ‘no one’. You are all the beautiful wonderfulness it takes to raise babies, love friends, and look for a way out.
